In case you missed my predictions so far, this will get you caught up:
More from College Football Odds
- Colorado football getting insane amount of bets to win 2024 National Championship
- College Football National Championship Odds on National Signing Day
- 3 college football teams that could beat Georgia in 2023 (Can Florida State break through?)
- College Football 2023 National Championship Odds (Georgia favored for three-peat)
- Best college football bowl game picks today (Best bets for Monday, January 2)
This will cover the games that kick between 3:30 and 7:00 eastern time. My picks for the primetime games will be up by 5pm.
Boston College at North Carolina State(-3.5): Uh……no. This line is backwards. BC win straight up, and it might not be close.
North Texas at UAB(-6.5): The Blazers have been playing very well, then again, so has UNT. I will take North Texas because I expect this to be very close throughout.
Louisville at Clemson(-9.5): Louisville gets Will Gardner and DeVonta Parker back. And they still have one of the best D-Lines in the ACC. I like Louisville to keep this a one score game. Give me the Cardinals.
(2)Auburn(-2.5) at (3)Mississippi State: Another huge one in the state of Mississippi. These are two very similar teams in style and in talent. I like the Bulldogs simply because they are at home. Give me Mississippi State.
(8)Michigan State(-20.5) at Purdue: This seems low against the dangerous Michigan State offense and stout defense. Give me Sparty.
(12)Oregon(-2.5) at (18)UCLA: This matchup has lost some luster since both teams lost last week, and seem to have more questions than answers. Oregon’s offensive line is beat up, and UCLA’s has struggled all season long. Give me Oregon because they have better athletes.
(9)TCU at (5)Baylor(-8.5): I like Baylor to win, but not by that much. TCU’s defense is going to make them work for everything and keep it close.
Toledo at Iowa State(-3.5): This one too low. Toledo is without RB Kareem Hunt and QB Phillip Bly. I like the Cyclones to win easily.
North Carolina at (6)Notre Dame(-16.5): This looks low with the way the UNC defense has looked. Give me Notre Dame for my lock of the day!
(16)Oklahoma State(-20.5) at Kansas: The Jayhawk defense has actually looked pretty good so far, but I still don’t think they can stop the Cowboy offense. Give me Okie State.
Central Michigan at Northern Illinois(-9.5): The Huskies aren’t as dynamic as they were last year, but they are still a good team. Give me UNI.
Washington at California(-3.5): This line opened with the Huskies favored by 2.5, and should have stayed there. This week, it is Husky QB Cyler Miles who gets to look like Peyton Manning against the awful Cal pass defense. Give me Washington straight up!
(7)Alabama(-8.5) at Arkansas: This line has been inching upward, and it might be a shade too high. I like Arkansas to continue to run the ball, but Bama’s run defense is really good. I think I have to go with Alabama for that reason.
Idaho at Georgia Southern(-24.5): Wow, this is a huge line for a first year FBS school. Then again, the Vandals should have been demoted to 1-AA about a decade ago. Give me Georgia Southern, I guess.
