3. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers got off to a rough start as well, but star quarterback Aaron Rodgers made it clear that fans should relax. He has backed up those words over the past few weeks, and the Packers have been rolling on both offense and defense. Rodgers is once again in the MVP discussion, and it wouldn’t be too surprising to see him end up winning the award if he continues playing the way he has over the last few games.

Rodgers has thrown for 1,674 yards, 18 touchdowns, and just one interception on the season. He has been taking excellent care of the football all season long, and has been dealing with major injuries to the offensive line as well at times. The Packers wouldn’t be nearly 5-2 at this point in the season if they didn’t have Rodgers as their starting quarterback.

Once again, the Packers are looking like legitimate contenders in the NFC. Rodgers is going to need to continue playing at a very high level in order to make that happen. There have been no signs of him slowing down, and fans can expect to see him continue playing at a high level.
