The NFL trade deadline is just a couple days away, coming on Tuesday, October 28th, and teams are looking to make some last minute moves. Unlike other sports, there isn’t usually a lot of action ahead of the NFL trade deadline in other sports, partially because it isn’t necessarily easy for a player to learn a new playbook and adapt in the middle of the season.
That hasn’t stopped some surprising midseason trades from happening so far this season, like the Seattle Seahawks shipping off Percy Harvin to the New York Jets.
Harvin isn’t the only wide receiver generating some interest, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson is drawing a lot of interest on the trade market as well. NFL insider Ian Rapoport says more than four teams have called to inquire about Jackson, including some contenders like the Philadelphia Eagles, the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.
For the Seahawks it makes a lot of sense as they look to replace Harvin.
The Kansas City Chiefs have also been interested
