Torey Krug’s Broken Finger Is… Pretty Disgusting (Photo)
Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug wins the gruesome injury of the day award with his finger.
If you don’t like gore, avert your eyes. No, I’m so serious.

According to ESPN, the Bruins will be out the services of blue liner Torey Krug for 2-3 weeks, as he recovers from the broken finger he suffered during the team’s 4-3 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night.
As someone who’s broken a finger and three of her toes, I’m not entirely sure that’s what you should call what happened to Krug’s digit.
It’s broken, yeah… clean off on the top.
Oh my actual God.
Bruins insider Joe Haggerty tweeted out a picture of the injury, and I actually had to look away. Maybe the most horrifying thing I’ve seen in a good long while.
HIS FINGER IS DANGLING BY A PIECE OF SKIN.
On the plus side, 2-3 weeks isn’t bad. At least he’s not Jordan Staal, cause the Bruins could not be out one of their top offensive defensemen for months at a time.
Krug’s injury will put the team out yet another defenseman as they play the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night. The team is already short captain Zdeno Chara, who went down with a knee injury during the team’s game against the New York Islanders earlier in the week.
Because I’m nice, I’ve put the picture down at the very bottom.
You’ve been warned.
