in one of

‘s best rivalries, Seminoles’ starting running back Karlos Williams got good news.

Williams, who was being investigated for an alleged domestic assault (the mother of his children posts photos of herself with bruises on arms and wrote “Domestic violence is NEVER okay.” on facebook), had no charges filed against him after the Tallahassee Police Department finished their investigation.

Florida State actually alerted the police department to the facebook post, which is how the investigation got started.

The alleged victim declined to press charges and would not make any statements to the police – she formally requested the Tallahassee Police Department stop their investigation on Oct. 29.

Tuesday was the first time Williams spoke about the investigation.

“I have great teammates, great family,” Williams said via Brendan Sonnone of the Orlando Sentinel. “Try not to focus on those things, focus on school, things I can control, which is school and football.

Try to move on, try to move forward and progress in life. Things are going to happen, and I have to learn to roll with the punches and just keep moving forward.”

You can read the police report here.

Williams has rushed for 520 yards and nine touchdowns on 119 carries and another 169 yards on 17 receptions this season.

The Seminoles and Hurricanes will kick-off from Sun Life Stadium at 8:00 pm ET and the game is on ABC.
