Who are the 30 greatest starting pitchers in MLB history?

One of the hardest things to do is to select a certain group of players at a certain position who are considered the “best.”

It’s even harder when it comes to a spot that’s been around for over 100 years, seen several “ages” and has thousands of players at the specific position this list is about: baseball’s best starting pitchers ever.

These 30 pitchers have proved and/or are proving throughout their career that they are/were the best on the mound from the spring to summer and especially when the lights shined bright in the month of October.

Keep one thing in mind when going through this list: “Although chicks dig the long ball, pitching wins championships,” and chicks love championship rings.”

So who were the best of the best on the mound?  Click next and find out.
