WINNERS: Indianapolis Colts

While the Colts still have issues on both sides of the ball, I think it’s safe to say they surprised a lot of people outside of Indiana. We knew Andrew Luck was incredible—we just didn’t give the rest of the team enough credit.

And sure, there is a lot to be said for how badly Peyton Manning played (more on that in a bit) and the fact that the Broncos defense didn’t show up, but the Colts played very well and seem to be heating up at exactly the right time.

My biggest concern is that there just isn’t much more than Luck here and his two interceptions, while not an issue Sunday, would be against the New England Patriots. Luck can play better and he’ll have to against the Patriots.
