After losing their last three and five of their last six in December, the Carolina Hurricanes are off to a nice start in January with a 5-2-1 record in their first seven games. Carolina has alternated a win for a loss since Jan. 4, but will try to win two in a row when they take on Toronto on Monday after knocking off Ottawa on Saturday night behind a goal and an assist from Justin Faulk. Anton Khudobin has been in net the last two wins as Cam Ward is in the midst of a three-game personal losing streak.
