If you are looking for a bonafide ace, then look no further than Chris Sale. In my eyes, Sale is without a doubt the third best pitcher in fantasy and all of baseball. If you can land Chris Sale with a late second or early third round pick and pair him with two premier hitters, then that could be a great core. I really believe that Sale will outperform his ADP, and I will be drafting him as you can read in my article.
The White Sox rotation saw a major upgrade when they brought Jeff Samardzija back to Chicago, but he will be pitching for the South Side this time. His 4.70 K/BB ratio was by far a career best, but I am not too worried about a major regression. I have watched Samardzija pitch over the years and he has developed from a thrower to an actual pitcher. Draft the Shark with confidence.
Jose Quintana is the popular sleeper from the White Sox rotation. He has improved every single year as a Major League starter. From 2012 to 2014, Jose Quintana has seen his ERA drop from 3.76 to 3.51 to 3.32 and his K/9 from 5.35 to 7.38 to 8.00. In 2015, Quintana will be 26 and should be a strong bet to continue his development.
