Giannis Antetokounmpo and Victor Oladipo are in the dunk contest

YOU GUYS! GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO AND VICTOR OLADIPO ARE IN THE DUNK CONTEST!

Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski has the scoop:

"The Milwaukee Bucks‘ Giannis Antetokounmpo and Orlando Magic‘s Victor Oladipo have committed to participating in the All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk contest, league sources told Yahoo Sports.Brooklyn Nets center Mason Plumlee will be a part of the competition too, sources told Yahoo Sports. The dunk contest is set as the final event of All-Star Saturday night on Feb. 14 at the Barclays Center in New York. Another strong possibility to join the field is Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Zach LaVine, league sources told Yahoo."

This is fantastic news, as Gianny is one of our patron saints here at the Friendly Bounce, and Oladipo and Plumlee can throw down as well. And if LaVine does indeed join the competition? Hoo boy, this dunk contest is going to be flames.

Just sitting here thinking about all the things Gianns could come up with is incredible. Imagine him dunking four basketballs at one time while jumping over all of his brothers. It could happen, it really could. Actually I think it would be foolish to doubt anything from Giannis at this point. He’s the embodiment of KG screaming “ANNYYYTHINNGGGGG ISSS POSSSIBBBLLLEEEEEEEEEE” after the ’08 Finals.

Anyways, let’s look at some of the best dunks these folks have thrown down so far in their short careers.

Giannis:

On Chris Bosh

On the Suns

Oladipo

On Draymond Green

On LeBron

Plumlee

On the Rockets

On the Pelicans
