The Dallas Mavericks’ forward guest starred on the Disney Channel show ‘Kirby Buckets’

Chandler Parsons has a personality fit for a television show. So naturally, the Mavericks forward appeared on a terribly unfunny Disney Channel sitcom entitled, “Kirby Buckets.”

Parsons appeared as himself on the show as big fan of a character known as Eli. As Chandler Parsons approaches the young Eli for an autograph, he is blown off and is informed by Eli that he is in the middle of something.

Eli’s buddy tries to inform Eli that the person he is blowing off is the Mavericks’ forward and that he thinks Parsons is awesome. This Eli guy then quips that in the “Eli Nation” everyone is equal and that Parsons will have to wait for Eli to finish what he is doing before he can get an autograph.

So, I suppose we learned a lesson there.

Also, you just watched a few seconds of a Disney Channel show, so feel proud and also ashamed of yourself.

Like most Disney shows, the crowd laughs are pumped in and the scene isn’t really that funny, but Parsons shows some nice acting chops and definitely has a future in acting if he chooses to do something else after his basketball career. Then again, this is all entirely based off the fact he’s acting against children and children who, themselves, are not high quality talent.

So while Parsons might get blown off in the show, he won’t be blown off if he is wide open for a shot when he takes the floor for the Mavericks.
