We get it. Not everyone can go to their local games store and plop down $60 every time a new game is out. Especially not these days, because a new game isn’t just $60, it’s an additional $20 in DLC, and all of that money adds up.

And why should you break the bank just for some digital jollies? There are more fantastic games available on the cheap than ever before. We just came off a dramatic Valentine’s sale on PSN and Steam, and now we’re headed right back into the fray, broke gamer.

More from Entertainment

As of today, February 18th, 2015, we have an expansive collection of sales across a variety of platforms that should make your thumbs and wallet tingle in anticipation. They are collected below.

To kick things off, Steam currently has the Crusader Kings II Collection on sale for 75 percent off. If you ever wanted to get really into family trees, marrying off your daughters and poisoning wayward princes, this game is likely for you (check out the Game of Thrones mod). You can get the entire Crusader Kings II collection for just $39.99, which is a good deal for a massive amount of content.

Lost Planet 3 is the second of Steam’s Midweek Madness titles. Priced at $8.49 at 66 percent off, it’s an okay deal. I would wait.

Alright, before I get into the next sale, everyone just breathe. A new Humble Bundle is here, and it’s glorious. The Square Enix Humble Bundle includes…

  • Hitman: Absolution
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Director’s Cut)
  • Hitman: Go
  • Murdered: Soul Suspect
  • Supreme Commander 2
  • Thief

All of those can be yours if you pay over the average, which is currently sitting at $6.90. And if you pay above $15, you get Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider as well. An amazing deal even if some of these games are a ‘meh’ to a certain class of gamer. They should still give Deus Ex a try. I’ve bought that damn game three times I love it so much, and I’m down to try out Hitman again, even though it was my least favorite in the series. Thief isn’t amazing, but it’s still fun. The same could be said for Sleeping Dogs. Tomb Raider is excellent as you probably know.

It comes down to dollar-per-hour gaming for me, and the Humble Bundle always delivers when it comes to that ratio. Even at the full $15, you’re looking at maybe .50 cents an hour.

Microsoft is hosting an absolutely massive sale that just launched on Xbox Live called the Ultimate Game Sale. I wouldn’t call it the ultimate game sale, considering Steam has those covered twice a year, but I would say it’s pretty excellent. There’s a host of games with the prices slashed, and then you get an additional 10 percent off if you’re an Xbox Live Gold member. Lets look at these wonderful toys:Alien Isolation (only $24 with Xbox Live Gold and worth every penny)

  • Alien Isolation (only $24 with Xbox Live Gold and worth every penny)
  • Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
  • Destiny
  • Telltale Games Collection
  • The Crew
  • Forza 5 Game of the Year
  • Watch Dogs
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 (some say it’s better than FIFA)
  • Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
  • Lara Croft: Temple of Osiris & Season Pass

The ultimate value deals for under $15:

  • Kinect Sports Rivals
  • Sniper Elite 3 ($10 with Gold and worth it)
  • Lara Croft: Temple of Osiris
  • Costume Quest 2

Xbox 360 titles on sale:

  • COD: Advanced Warfare
  • Destiny
  • Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
  • Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare
  • Sniper Elite 3
  • Alien Isolation
  • South Park: Stick of Truth
  • Gears of War 3
  • Halo 4
  • FIFA 15
  • Far Cry 3

Xbox 360 games for less than $10:

  • Skate 3
  • Mortal Kombat
  • Dragon Age 2
  • Injustice: Gods Among Us
  • State of Decay (skip this on 360, it doesn’t run well)
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Saints Row The Third
  • Just Cause 2 (wait for it to go on sale on Steam if you have a PC)
  • Dead Island Riptide
  • Dark Souls
  • Mass Effect

Lots of games, lots of good prices. I don’t even like the Sniper Elite games that much and I think I have to pick up Sniper Elite 3 for $10.

Sony has a promotion where spending $100 will get you back $15, which means you can get $115 worth of games for $100 (duh). In addition to that, Sony is hosting multiple sales including the Critic’s Choice Sale, which has these games available on the Playstation Store at massive discounts:

You can see the Aksys Sale and the Focus Sale by clicking the appropriate links. No one wants too many bullet points… No one.

And finally, GreenManGaming has a VIP sale primarily focused on some new releases that are pretty great deals on digital PC Games. They have Evolve for $45, Dying Light for $45 and the upcoming Mortal Kombat X for $45 (I would wait on MK and Dying Light as I can see those being discounted heavily on PC soon). In addition to that sale, they have a 20 percent off coupon code for any digital games not exempt.

Man, it’s a good time to be a broke gamer.

So those are the gaming deals for this third week of February. Do they pique your interest? What are you going to be picking up for mere pennies on the dollar?
