Helped: Chris Conley, WR, Georgia

I know I’ve been effusive in my praise for a few of this week’s workouts, but no one improved his stock more than Conley. While he was Georgia’s top receiver in 2014, he only had 36 catches for 657 yards, and didn’t run precise routes, making him an afterthought as an NFL prospect. After the combine, people are going to be more willing to gamble on whether or not they can turn him into a polished product.

Conley measured in at just under 6-foot-3 and 213 pounds, then had an incredible workout. He blazed his way to a 4.35-second 40, threw up 18 bench press reps and broke records for a wide receiver with a 139-inch broad jump and a 45-inch vertical. Here’s video of him absolutely crushing the workout.

Conley is a big, tall receiver who can run and is a super athlete. Because of his workout he has probably jumped a few rounds. He won’t be a first-round pick, but he is certainly on everyone’s radar now. He wasn’t a week ago.
