Mortal Kombat keeps coming back with a vengeance. No need to use a fatality to kill their game, they are back in business with their latest hit Mortal Kombat X, and it looks like a classic.

Long live Mortal Kombat!

Just when you thought that martial arts fighting game had jumped the shark, the creators of the game go back to the drawing board and create a product so ingenious that it makes gamers fall in love with the series once again.

For all of those who played the iconic Mortal Kombat series in the past, they are going to love Mortal Kombat X. For all of those who have never played a Mortal Kombat game, they are going to love Mortal Kombat X. Simply put, anyone who comes into contact with this video game, is going to love Mortal Kombat X.

The game is set 25 years after Mortal Kombat 9, which was released in 2011. The newest trailer of the game has Cassandra Cage leading the newest group of fighters. Cage is the daughter of Johnny Cage (my favorite character), and Sonya Blade.

Her appearance pays reverence to her parents as she has blond hair and an attractive face like her mother, but still keeps it cool with her cocky attitude, and use of sunglasses like her father.

Additionally Jacqueline Briggs, who’s the daughter of Jax, and Takashi Takeda, who’s a descendant of Kung Lao, are also apart of Cage’s group.

It seems like in the game Cage is attempting to earn the trust of her group, but is having a difficult time. Cage is leading her group against a new threat. There is a talisman that has the ability to suck people souls, and someone is using it to claim the throne.

In the newest Mortal Kombat players will have the ability to choose from a handful of new characters and characters who everyone already enjoys playing with.
