The Philadelphia Phillies have added a monster burger to their menu

The MLB lately has become about which team can add the craziest food item to their menu. Teams have added corn dogs the size of children, buckets of ice cream and other monstrous creations to their menu boards.

The Philadelphia Phillies are the latest team to jump on the trend of marketing unique food items to their fans.

Their newest menu item might be the most insane dish in the majors yet. This year, fans in Philadelphia can order a giant cheeseburger. Actually, giant doesn’t even really begin to describe it either.

The burger comes with a whopping nine patties and is somewhere around 5,100 calories.

It’s a meal for only the heartiest of eaters. It also raises the question of whether people have to sign a liability form before attempting to take on a challenge of this magnitude.

How does one even fit this in their mouth? Do you pick it up and bite it, or do you strategically tear it apart?

MLB teams continue to one up each other for best stadium food item as they draw fans in. The Phillies just set the bar pretty high for everyone else.
