The official logo for ‘Scream’ the television show was recently unveiled with a trailer slated to premiere soon.
Get ready to scream. The official logo for MTV’s new show based on the ’90s teen killing horror flick Scream has been unveiled.
Check it out below.
Say what you will about ’90s horror films, but they kept a lot of gen X’ers on their toes and afraid of answering the phone at night. Which is why the new television show based on Scream should be a treat to fans of the horror genre or just those of the movies.

Actress Bella Thorne will appear in the pilot for the show as an homage of Drew Barrymore’s now iconic portrayal in the movie’s opening scene (“Do you like scary movies?”). She is slated to premiere the trailer during the 2015 MTV Movie Awards this Sunday.
From TV Line:
"Additional Scream cast members include Willa Fitzgerald (Royal Pains) as shy-yet-popular Emma Duvall, Bex Taylor-Klaus (Arrow) as preacher’s daughter Aubrey Jensen and Carlson Young (Key and Peele) as bubbly ringleader Brooke Maddox."
The plot as provided by MTV is as follows:
"MTV’s small-screen adaptation is based on the international horror franchise directed by Wes Craven. After a cyber-bullying incident results in a brutal murder, the shocking violence stirs up memories of a killing spree from the past that has haunted some, intrigued others and maybe just inspired a new killer. A group of teens — with two old friends struggling to reconnect at its heart — become lovers, enemies, suspects, targets and victims of an assassin who’s out for blood."
Let’s just hope it has enough legs to keep us on our toes for a while. Though it’ll have some stiff competition with other horror shows like American Horror Story and Hannibal, we’re likely to see some quality scares from Scream.
