B+. <p>What can you say about the San Antonio Spurs?</p>
<p>Some left the Spurs for dead midseason, but they have awakened to the tune of 11 consecutive wins as I type this, and with another 55-win season, they simply won’t go away. If not for the presence of the Warriors, San Antonio might be the title <em>favorite</em> despite their early-season “struggles”, and Gregg Popovich is busy doing Gregg Popovich things.</p>
<p>To be honest, we could go on for days about the San Antonio model. Kawhi Leonard is a full-blown superstar with a legitimate claim on DPOY honors, Tim Duncan is having the best season that a 38-year-old NBA player has ever had, and the Spurs consistently produce role players seemingly out of nowhere.</p>
<p>With the surge from Leonard and a reprise from Tony Parker, the Spurs look to be a title contender again, and given that San Antonio doesn’t care about regular season records, that is just about all that matters. We’ll be watching San Antonio play into late May or June, and they are the gift that keeps on giving.</p>. 3rd. Southwest Division, Western Conference. SAN ANTONIO SPURS
