Boston Celtics big man Kelly Olynyk and Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love got tangled up and Love’s shoulder was dislocated.
It was a violent scene as Olynyk grabbed Love by his left arm and pulled in a direction opposite the way Love was going. He had to leave the court immediately and won’t return.
The Celtics fans know this is a good thing in their quest to avoid being swept, and they actually cheered as he left the court.
Watch for yourself and decide whether or not they were cheering.
We expect this kind of behavior from Philadelphia fans, but Boston fans, shame on you.
I mean they cheered Michael Irvin being stretchered off with a career-ending injury and even jolly ole Kris Kringle. ESPN even did a short feature about it.
I mean, look at these Eagles fans welcoming some 49ers fans by pelting them with snowballs.
But Boston, we expected classier behavior from you.
