The Chicago Bears entered the draft with a number of holes on defense, but at the same time could still end up taking an offensive weapon.

The Chicago Bears have needs all across the defense, particularly within the linebacker corps. With Dante Fowler off of the board, their best option as an edge rusher went with him. However, the fall of Leonard Williams in the draft allows them to pick up arguably an even bigger need: 3-4 defensive end. But with Williams going off right before to the New York Jets, they instead decided to go with offense.

Kevin White is the best physical specimen at receiver in the NFL Draft. He emerged last year in West VIrginia as one of the best playmakers in college football, winning at the point of the catch in one-on one matchups. His physicality and savvy offensive moves help him gain an advantage while the ball is in the air, and he is a reliable receiver both on third down and in the red zone.

While Amari Cooper has the most polish, Kevin White has the most potential of any receiver and could eventually become the better player.

With this choice, the Falcons go on the clock, and are in position to take one of the edge rushers that they covet. Both Clemson’s Vic Beasley and Kentucky’s Bud Dupree will be available.
