3. He’s a record-breaker

Not many people broke any records in the NBA this season and nobody broke a big one like Steph Curry did. The fifth-year star has broken his own record for three-pointers made in a single season.

Yes, I said Curry broke his own record for the most three-pointers made in a single season, racking up 286 of those puppies. Two years ago, Curry hit 272 threes and it seemed like that would be his highest career total, eclipsing Ray Allen’s previous record of 269.

Who else in the league can break a record and then two years later, break that broken record? Steph Curry is the type of player who can go above and beyond his own impressive accomplishments by hitting nearly 300 three-pointers in 82 games — averaging about 3.6 per contest.

If you watch any of his games, you will see how defenses play him so tight because if he gets an inch of room, he’s going to step up and knock down a long-range shot. Heck, he can even do that if there is someone up in his grill.

This record-breaking point guard will probably break the all-time three-pointers made record before it’s all said and done, surpassing the total of 2,973 made by Ray Allen.

Don’t be surprised if this is the first of many MVP awards for Curry.
