SF. Louisville. Montrezl Harrell. 20. player. 81. After getting knocked out of the first round of the NBA Playoffs by the Washington Wizards, is clear the Toronto Raptors have their work cut out for them moving forward. But the good news is, it’s not that much work.
They can start by drafting a solid forward who can put them over the edge as far as post play goes. I don’t know if there is a more physically gifted forward who still can operate with poise in the post in the NBA draft this year than Montrezl Harrell. At 6’8 230 pounds, Harrell doesn’t necessarily separate himself on paper from the rest of the power forwards in the draft this year. But it’s the way he uses his body in the post that could make him dominant in the NBA.

We all saw it when he played for Louisville and for Toronto, he will do the same. The Raptors have been looking for a forward who can score in the post since Chris Bosh left. Harrell could be that guy.
