UNLV. Christian Wood. 24. player. 156. With all the rumors surrounding Kevin Love and where he will end up next year could cause the Cavaliers to select a power forward in the 2015 NBA Draft. Love, while his stats are less than they have been in years past, proved to be instrumental to the Cavs success in the playoffs after he was injured. And Tristan Thompson, Love’s backup, couldn’t get the job done sufficiently.

Drafting someone like Christian Wood could help with this problem. He’s physical tools and hustle make him an excellent option in transition. He also isn’t that horrible of a ball handler, so asking him to step outside and be a part of a half court offense wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.

An obvious problem with Wood is how skinny he is. This is perhaps the easiest problem an NBA team could attempt at solving. But at 6’11, 220 pounds, Wood is going to have to put on some weight to be an effective player on the block. For now, Wood might be the best option for the Cavs at no. 24 overall.
. PF
