Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. 25. player. 211. At this point in the draft, taking Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is kind of a no-brainer for the Memphis Grizzlies. They lacked size in the back court, with the exception of Tony Allen. With Allen on the bench, Memphis was pretty vulnerable.
By drafting Hollis-Jefferson, Memphis has a guy who can defend on the perimeter and still score 10+ points per game as well. At Arizona, Hollis-Jefferson led his team to an Elite 8 appearance with his spectacular play. His game will easily translate into an NBA ready guard/forward due to his athletic ability and size (6 foot 7 inches tall).
. G/F. Arizona
