As everyone gets ready for their 4th of July festivities, is Walmart open in case you forgot anything?
So everyone is headed down to the 4th of July party, maybe it’s a pool party, or a barbecue or perhaps fire work show later in the evening. But you’ve forgotten something you’ve needed for the shindig, like hot dog or hamburger essentials, maybe beer, maybe some sparklers for the kids, or lawn chairs to sit?
First store that comes to mind is Walmart, cause they’re always open for the most part. But are they open on a national holiday like the 4th of July?
Well the answer is simple, yes they are. In fact, most stores are open for business as usual on Independence Day the lone large national chain that holds out is Costco, which will be closed on July 4th. Costco is one of the few stores that will keep the doors closed to observe Independence Day.
The only holiday Walmart closes for is Christmas. They also have limited hours on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, but are open in some capacity throughout the day.
Walmart also has a wide variety of “4th of July” shopping specials for those of you who can’t resist.
