7. Franklin Gutierrez-OF-Seattle Mariners: The Mariners and Angels continue their AL West series tonight after splitting the first two games of their four-game set.  Tonight, the Angels start C.J. Wilson who Franklin Gutierrez has a very nice history against. In his career Gutierrez is 7-22 (.318) including a homer and six RBI. After his amazing comeback, he continues to represent good value as an inexpensive outfielder.

6. Mark Reynolds-1B-St. Louis Cardinals: Like the Mariners and Angels, the Cardinals and Pirates have split the first two games of their four-game divisional series. Tonight, it’s John Lackey vs A.J. Burnett in a matchup of veteran pitchers having solid seasons.  Mark Reynolds should return to the lineup after only pinch-hitting last night. The reason I think he’ll be back in there is that he is 5-13 (.385) in his career against Burnett including two doubles and three home runs to go with four RBI.

5. Billy Butler-DH-Oakland Athletics: Butler makes our list for a second straight day as the A’s continue their trip to Cleveland where Butler has a ton of experience from his time in Kansas City.  Butler is 8-20 (.400) in his career against tonight’s starter Carlos Carrasco including a pair of homers and four RBI.

4. Nelson Cruz-OF-Seattle Mariners: Joining his teammate Franklin Gutierrez on our list, Nelson Cruz is 7-16 (.438) against Angels’ veteran C.J. Wilson with a double, home run, and two RBI.
