The National League squad for the 2015 Home Run Derby is loaded with young talent, including two players from the Chicago Cubs, another outstanding young bat and hometown hero Todd Frazier.

The the 2015 MLB All-Star Festivities officially got underway on Sunday afternoon, when the Futures Game and Celebrity Softball Game got things started, things don’t really start to kick into gear Monday evening. That’s when the 2015 Home Run Derby comes in with a bang!

The 2015 Derby will kick off at 8:00pm Eastern Standard Time and will feature a new set-up that MLB hopes will make things more exciting. The itself will also feature some very interesting contenders, drawing from a diverse pool of players from around baseball. For the National League, the young squad is led by a pair of exciting rookies in Kris Bryant and Joc Pederson.

However, the “veterans” of this team, Anthony Rizzo and Todd Frazier, are two of the most potent bats in the game today and could very well show the young pups a thing or two come Monday night at Great American Ballpark. While they are not necessarily long in the tooth themselves, at least in terms of experience, they certainly have service time on their National League teammates.

Here’s a closer look at the four sluggers who make up the National League Home Run Derby squad this year.
