Kara Lawson dropped 20 points last night as the Washington Mystics scored a very impressive victory in Minnesota against a Lynx team that boasts the best record in the league. The 79-61 win moved the Mystics to 15-9, and a tie for second place in the Eastern Conference, two games behind the top-seeded Liberty.

Lawson was mighty impressive throughout, finishing with 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 24 minutes. But it was her extremely deep triple in the fourth quarter that was the most memorable moment.

With the Mystics leading by 18, and 8 seconds still left on the shot clock, Lawson proceeded to launch a triple from way behind the line, and of course, it was straight cash, homie. At first I thought the shot clock was winding down, but nope, 8 seconds left! Lol, this was so disrespectful.

Kara’s swagger was most definitely on a hundred thousand trillion last night.
