The Chicago Sky weren’t facing a must-win tonight against the Washington Mystics, but it was certainly an important game with how bunched up the middle of the Eastern Conference is at the moment.
Well they left it to the last few seconds, but they got the win. All thanks to Allie Quigley and her clutch shooting. Quigley had a huge game off the bench, dropping 20 points on 8-13 shooting. Only one of those buckets was a three, but it was the only one that mattered.
With the Sky down one in the closing seconds, Quigley circled up to take the pass from Courtney Vandersloot, and immediately let fly a three that caught nothing but the bottom of the net. It gave the Sky an 87-85 lead with just 2.1 seconds left, a lead that held up as the Mystics missed a last-gasp three of their own.

Straight cash, homie.
