Tyler Eifert-Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have established Eifert as the second option in their passing game this preseason behind only A.J. Green. While Green is sure to get a ton of targets, Eifert also has potential to emerge as a potent red zone weapon and could easily be a top ten TE by the end of the season.

Like Rudolph, many predicted a breakout season for Eifert last year before he shredded his elbow in week one and missed the entire season. Reportedly, Eifert is back to full health and becoming a go-to option for Andy Dalton when he needs a big play and in the red zone.

Last week in Preseason week 3, Eifert hauled in two passes for 30 yards and has 67 yards on five catches so far this preseason.  He probably will sit out the final preseason game, and look to start his breakout campaign week one against the Raiders.

At this point in the fantasy football draft season, Eifert is the 15th tight end going off the board, so he may not be there in the very last round if you wait to long. However, he has less risk than the other options on this list even though I think Rudolph’s ceiling is a bit higher. If you can get him as a late-round TE, he should be a solid value since he’ll likely be a top ten option most weeks this season.
