3. New York Jets

Who would have thought that we’d be living in a world where the New York Jets are undefeated heading into Week Three of the NFL season; yet, here we are. The Jets defense has been as dominant as expected, but Ryan Fitzpatrick, Chris Ivory and the offense have been far better than advertised so far this season.

Standing in stark contrast of the Jets is the Philadelphia Eagles team that will be visiting the Jets in Week Three. The Eagles offense has been anemic for six of the first eight quarters of football that they’ve played this season and their defense hasn’t been able to account for that lack of offensive production.

Considering the offensive struggles of the Eagles and the defense that they’ll be up against on Sunday, this should be a cakewalk for the Jets. However, it’s hard to escape the feeling that Chip Kelly’s offense won’t be held silent forever, even if it’s not as consistently as dangerous as many thought it would be.

After what we’ve seen in the first two weeks of the season, this would certainly be one of the biggest possible upsets in Week Three. That being said, you just can’t discount the potential of the Eagles offense under Kelly, even against an elite defense in this league. Moreover, how long can you feel good about trust Fitzpatrick without him imploding at least once? In my opinion, until now is the answer to that question.
