Gary Barnidge-TE-Cleveland Browns (37.2%)

At tight end, the best pickup who is widely available for the third straight week is Barnidge who continues to breakout with Josh McCown feeding him the ball early and often in the Browns’ passing attack. Barnidge has at least 75 yards in three straight games and has found the end zone in each contest.

He quickly has flourished with McCown taking over for Johnny Football and should continue to get plenty of looks going forward. Barnidge’s touchdown catch this week was crazy as the ball came to rest between his feet before he had the presence of mind to bring it in.

With the Browns playing from behind, look for Barnidge to keep getting targets even though his schedule does get tougher with the Broncos, Rams, Cardinals, and Bengals ahead.  The matchups are enough to keep McCown just outside of my top ten, but with so few quality tight end options, Barnidge is still worth a look on the fantasy football waive wire this week.
