Theo Riddick-RB-Detroit Lions (15.2%)

In a pickup that especially makes sense for players in PPR leagues, the Lions messed up backfield has yielded one productive option and that isn’t Joique Bell or Ameer Abdullah but 3rd year former-golden-domer Theo Riddick.  Riddick has only two carries on the year, but he is so involved in the passing game that he is worth picking up especially if your league rewards catches.

Last week, Riddick had a career-high ten passes for 53 yards and his second touchdown of the season.  He has at least five catches in every game since week 1, and has 30 total catches which is the most in the NFL for a running back.

Going forward, Riddick should stay very involved as a receiver out of the backfield.  He has consistently outplayed Abdullah and Bell which could also mean more playing time for him if he keeps up his solid production.  This week, the Lions look for their first win as they host the Bears in an NFC North matchup.
