With Frank Beamer set to coach his final home game as head coach of the Virginia Tech Hokies, the school released an awesome tribute video.

One of the great coaches in college football will call it a career soon. Frank Beamer, the man that has led Virginia Tech for the past 29 seasons, will finally step down at the end of the year.

Not only did he turn the Hokies into a top program, he is currently the longest-tenured active coach in NCAA along with being the winningest coach currently as well. It will be big shoes to fill for whoever steps in to replace Beamer, but they will be stepping into a program that has a proud tradition thanks to the work of Beamer.

So with the season almost over and Frank Beamer’s career almost done, the Virginia Tech Hokies have released an awesome tribute video to honor the coach that has made them what they are today.

The video features Beamer talking about the things that he will miss by stepping down from coaching. In the video he talks about how it’s where he grew up, went to school and spent his life as the coach of the team.

It’s hard to not get chills when watching the video, knowing the impact that Beamer had on that community. It’s a touching tribute for a great man.
