2. Most of winning streak is against losing teams

Something similar could have been said about the Packers during their 6-0 start, but the Vikings were blown out at home by the Packers after winning five games in a row. They were able to beat the Kansas City Chiefs at home, but their subsequent wins came against the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders. Although the Raiders and Bears have shown steady improvement throughout the season, none of these teams have a winning record. Beating the Atlanta Falcons can also be considered an underwhelming win since the Falcons have looked like one of the worst teams in recent weeks with a five-game losing streak.

The Vikings also allowed 30 points to a Packers offense that has struggled on many occasions this season. While this can be attributed to a bitter NFC North rivalry, the Vikings still have yet to prove that they are the team to beat in the NFC North after their disappointing performance against the Packers. However, they will have plenty of opportunities to prove otherwise in their last five games as they take on the Seahawks, Cardinals and Giants while playing a rematch against the Packers in Week 17. The Packers have other things going in their favor though.
