45.
For all of the strengths that the Denver Broncos have, their offensive line has been a glaring weakness for them in the 2015 season. Though many of the offense’s shortcomings have been put on the aging shoulders of Peyton Manning, the line is the more glaring issue. Basically across the entire offensive line, they could use a player who could have an immediate impact.
Wisconsin Badgers center Dan Voltz is a player who could unquestionably do just that. In the same light as Travis Frederick and Peter Konz out of Wisconsin at center before him, Voltz has been one of the primary forces behind Wisconsin’s rushing attack over the years and his torn ACL suffered midway through the 2015 season was a reason for the Badgers’ offensive struggles late in the season.
With his size and agility at the position, Voltz could potentially stay at center or even move to guard as the Falcons did with Konz when they took him out of Wisconsin. He’s not a perfect prospect as he still needs to work on his technique and footwork in tight situations, but he’s a player with the framework, the strength, and the overall technique and versatility as a lineman that could hugely benefit the Broncos right away.
