High Salary C

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (10,700): Is January the official month of the Boogie or something? Cousins has been crushing it this month averaging 31.7 points, 13.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.7 steals.  He has only finished with less than 50 fantasy points in two of his last nine games and has posted over 60 in three of his last eight games including last night when he scored 36 points to go with 16 rebounds, three assists, a block, and a steal against the Lakers. He had 24 points and 12 rebounds when he faced the Hawks earlier this season, but since he’s at home and on such a roll, I think he’s a great play if you can afford him again tonight.

Marc Gasol-Memphis Grizzlies (8,000): Gasol has at least 38 fantasy points in four straight games and is definitely enjoying Zach Randolph and Mike Conley returning to the lineup.  He had 16 points, ten rebounds, and six assists against the Pelicans on Monday for a solid 39 fantasy points to follow up his monster 56.1-fantasy-point game against the Knicks.  He is in a pretty good matchup against the Nuggets tonight although he had “only” 33.3 fantasy points against them two weeks ago.

Al Horford-Atlanta Hawks (7,600): As dominant as DeMarcus Cousins is on the offensive end, the Kings still allow the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing centers.  Horford has at least 15 points in five of his last seven games and has over 30 fantasy points in five of his last eight games.  He had 16 points and eight boards last nigh against the Blazers, and he makes sense tonight against Sacramento although he doesn’t have the upside of Gasol and Cousins.
