High Salary PF

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,200): Yes it’s obvious to go with Boogie tonight, but he’s in a great matchup against the Pelicans who allow the second-most fantasy points in the NBA  to opposing centers.  Cousins dropped 32 points on them when the teams played earlier this year while using 12 boards, an assist, and a steal.  Cousins will be looking to bounce back after a woeful 4-21 shooting performance against the Blazers as he tries to help his team shake off losses on both ends of a back-to-back earlier this week.  Cousins could end up being worth his crazy-high salary if he can return tot he form he showed before Tuesday’s letdown.  In his previous four games, Cousins had three games of at least 60 fantasy points including his monster 81.5 fantasy points against the Hornets.  The Pelicans are in a similar defensive place to where Charlotte was in that one so look for Cousins to go back to piling up points tonight.

Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (8,300): Millsap was a little bit of a letdown last night against the Clippers finishing with 42 fantasy points on 14 points, ten rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal.  He almost always contributes all the way across the fantasy-relevant categories, and he has at least 42 fantasy points in each of his last five games. The reason Millsap is high risk is that the Pacers allow the fewest fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF.

Ryan Anderson-New Orleans Pelicans (6,300): Anderson has over 35 fantasy points in each of his last two games and stepped into a larger role against the Rockets after Anthony Davis left with his injury. With Davis doubtful for tonight, Anderson will probably start and get plenty of minutes against the Kings who allow the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing PF.  Anderson fell just one rebound short of a double-double on Monday, and he’s a good pick if Davis is out as expected.
