DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 26
High Salary C
DeAndre Jordan-Los Angeles Clippers (7,900): Jordan had just seven points and 12 boards despite playing 37 minutes against theNuggets on Wednesday for a “meh” 31.5 fantasy points. He had posted over 40 fantasy points in eight of his previous nine games, and I think he’ll bounce back tonight in a good matchup against Boogie and the Kings. Jordan has faced the Kings two times this season and is averaging 11.5 points, 15 rebounds, and 5.5 blocks. Since so much of the offense goes through Boogie, Jordan should be very involved defensively and end up with good blocks and boards tonight. ∗∗∗
Nikola Vucevic-Orlando Magic (7,700): Vucevic and the Magic couldn’t keep up with the Warriors last night, but he still managed 17 points and nine rebounds to get to 35.75 fantasy points. He should be able to exceed those numbers tonight as he takes on the Knicks who he has averaged 24.5 points and 10.5 rebounds against this season while adding 1.5 blocks and 2.0 assists. He seems to like Madison Square Garden where he posted 26 points and nine boards earlier this season and went off for an avery of 27 points and 15.5 rebounds in his two games last year. Vucevic has been dominant this month averaging 21 points and 10.2 rebounds, and I think he’ll be fresh enough after 32 minutes last night to put together another 20-10 performance. ∗∗∗∗
Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,700): Gortat didn’t come through for me on Wednesday in Chicago playing just 27 minutes and finishing with eight points and eight boards. Before that, though, he had been on a nice run of eight straight games of at least 30 fantasy points which included seven double-doubles. He had one of his best games during that stretch when he posted 21 points and 13 rebounds against tonight’s opponent the Sixers finishing that game with 44.25 fantasy points. Gortat should be set up to take it to Phily again tonight in a favorable matchup making his sub-7K price appealing. ∗∗∗
