High Value PF

Markieff Morris-Washington Wizards (5,400): The Markieff Morris experiment in Washington hasn’t gone great so far. Morris played 28 minutes against the Bulls in his last game but shot just 1-7 from the field and finished with five points. If it’s ever going to take off, tonight against the 76ers would seem to be the time to get started since Phily allows the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF, and the Wizards will try to get him going. He’s high-risk, but could be high-reward as well.

Brandon Bass-Los Angeles Lakers (4,000): If you have to go cheap at PF, Brandon Bass is actually getting some playing time for LA and has been relatively effective.  He has at least 19 fantasy points in five of his last six games including slurring 11 points to go with six boards against Memphis earlier this week.  While the Lakers will try to go young the rest of the way, Bass remains in the rotation enough to be a solid flier if you have to dig deep at the position tonight.

Brandan Wright-Memphis Grizzlies (3,700): The most upside of the cheap options to take a look at tonight belongs to Brandan Wright the Grizzlies big man who had 15 points and six rebounds for 27 fantasy points against Bass and the Lakers on Wednesday. With Memphis in need of size after losing Marc Gasol, Wright will get every opportunity going forward, but he’ll need to be able to play more than his limited 22 minutes on Wednesday. He’s working his way back from injury, but he has an ultra-high ceiling as soon as he can increase his minutes.
