While the stars from the PGA Tour are in Texas, DFS fantasy golf players will focus on the other event on tour this week the Puerto Rico Open at Coco Beach. Get your picks for the week lined up with my DraftKings fantasy golf picks on the following slides highlighting the players I think you should take a look at as you put together your team for this week’s event.

The top 66 ranked players in the world are at the Dell Match Play Championship in Austin so there won’t be any of the names we’re used to seeing atop the leaderboard.  However, the event has had its share of drama since its inception in 2008 at this course which was formerly known as Trump International Puerto Rico.  Now it’s known as Coco Beach Golf & Country Club, but the course is still the same winding from the Rainforest to the ocean and providing the tropical island vistas you would expect along the way.

Last year, the event ended in a five-man playoff won by Alex Cejka who birdied the first hole to defeat Emiliano Grillo, Sam Saunders, Jon Curran and Tim Petrovich. Grillo is at the other event this week, but the other four members of that playoff will all be back this year along with a few recognizable names like Ian Poulter, Retief Goosen, Boo Weekley, Graham DeLaet, Tony Finau, and Morgan Hoffmann.
