Dwight Howard went above the rim to slam home a vicious two-handed dunk to keep the Houston Rockets’ NBA Playoffs hopes alive.

If the Houston Rockets find a way into the 2016 NBA Playoffs, then Dwight Howard needs to play like a monster down the home stretch. Tuesday’s game against the Chicago Bulls was trending in Houston’s favor as Howard rose above the rim and slammed home the vicious two-handed dunk.

Somehow the Bulls forgot Howard was on the court. As a result, they failed to play defense and left the Rockets star wide open to not only get the ball, but also finish with a nice two-handed dunk. Howard was able to get above the rim and have a nice view from above as the ball went through the net.

It’s clear the Rockets haven’t played the best basketball among the league this year. However, Howard’s offensive play will be very key since he and the rest of the Rockets players decide to treat the regular season games as the NBA All-Star Game often by not playing defense. Defense wins games and championships and the Rockets will need to start playing it if they have any shot of making the playoffs and not being bounced in the first round.
