A look at who the Patriots play in the first four weeks of the 2016 NFL season now that Tom Brady is suspended

The US court of appeals shocked the NFL world on Monday morning as they reinstated the four-game suspension of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. As of right now after this most recent ruling, the Patriots will be without Tom Brady for the first four weeks of the 2016 NFL season.

This is obviously a huge blow to the Patriots, not just because they’re losing their starting quarterback and a future Hall-of-Famer, but also because it’s not something you’d think that the Pats ever saw coming. Now a Super Bowl contender is going to be playing without their starting quarterback for the first four games of the season.

Without question, Patriots fans have to be wondering what they’re going to do and how they’ll fare with Jimmy Garrapolo playing quarterback for New England rather than Tom Brady. As such, fans are likely wondering who the Patriots will be playing while Brady is suspended for the first four games of the season.

New England will open up the season on the road in a tough matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. After that, they at least have the advantage of playing three consecutive home games without Brady at the helm. Those games will be against the Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans, and Buffalo Bills. Quite honestly, all four of those games could be tough if Brady was playing and now they’re going to be a lot tougher to win for the Pats.
