High Value PG

Dennis Schroder-Atlanta Hawks (3,900): Schroder was in my picks for Game 1, but I didn’t put him in my lineup which is too bad since he went off for 27 points and 34.6 fantasy points in his 29 minutes.  He hit 5-10 three-pointers, but he also looked just too quick and elusive for anyone on Cleveland to guard.  Even if his shot isn’t falling, Schroder will be a great option again tonight against the Cavs and could get more paying time than Jeff Teague if he continues to be so effective.

Cory Joseph-Toronto Raptors (3,700): The other cheap option for this contest is Cory Joseph who keeps getting plenty of minutes coming off the bench for the Raptors behind Lowry and DeRozan.  CoJo had just 14.6 fantasy points in Game 1 on ten points, three rebounds, and two assists.  He definitely brings a spark off the bench and will continue to play the “instant offense” role as the Raps sixth man.  He doesn’t have nearly the upside of Schroder, though, so I’d go with the Hawks backup over the Raptors backup in this competition.
