Soccer is a big enough sport worldwide that it can support two long-running video game franchises, and one of them is coming with a new installment in September.

Believe it or not, it won’t be long until top soccer leagues around the world start back up again for their 2016-17 seasons. Konami is ready, announcing today that its popular soccer (or football, depending on what you call the beautiful game where you live) franchise is returning soon after the beginning of the new campaign.

Specifically Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 will hit stores on September 13 in North America and September 15 in the U.K. The game will ship at a suggested retail price of $59.99 on PS4 and Xbox One and $39.99 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The big selling point for PES 2017 is its ‘Control Reality’ theme, which sounds like something a wielder of one of the Infinity Gems would say but is actually a blanket mantra for many of the franchise’s improvements for this season. As spelled out at the game’s official site, they include the following:

  • Real Touch – More realistic, physics-based first touches
  • Precise Pass – Greater emphasis on speed and accuracy of passes
  • Goal Keeping – Added motions and animations to result in the most agile keepers ever
  • Advanced Instructions – All new, more comprehensive team strategies
  • Total Team Control – On-the-fly adjustments to team mentality
  • Corner Kick Control – New offensive and defensive options on corners
  • Adaptive AI – Smarter computer-controlled opposition that learns based on how you play
  • Authentic Visuals – What Konami is calling a “major upgrade” to graphics
  • Natural Player Movement – A wide variety of new animations and player interactions

Konami also revealed that additional details will be coming soon, including new content for myClub, which has been the most popular mode for PES on an annual basis.
