Mark Trumbo had everyone out of their seats on Monday night when he put a dent in the scoreboard

The annual Home Run Derby is taking place on Monday night as the All-Star festivities are in full swing, featuring some of the best power hitters the game has to offer. One of those hitters we know is one of the best in the game is Mark Trumbo, and he gave us one of the best highlights thus far.

Trumbo was able to advance to the second round of the contest, and just as he was getting into his groove, he gave us all something we wanted to see — something that we thought we were going to get from Giancarlo Stanton.

On one of the swings, Trumbo was able to hit the giant scoreboard out in left field of Petco Park, creating a highlight that we won’t forget.

Now that’s the type of stuff that you wanna see when you tune into the Home Run Derby each and every year. Sure, seeing some bombs is pretty neat, but you want to see something that really gets you excited.

Mark Trumbo denting the scoreboard is definitely one of those moments.
