NASCAR Sprint Cup Bristol Night Race: TV Schedule

Here is your complete guide for the Sprint Cup television schedule from practice through qualifying and the race on Saturday night.
NASCAR is in action this weekend for the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway. With just three races remaining after Saturday’s event, time is running out for those seeking to be one of the 16 drivers to make the Chase that begins on September 18 in Chicago for the final ten events of the Sprint Cup season.
After a two week absence because of the Olympics, the series returns to NBC Sports Network for some short track racing at its finest. There will be some rubbing, beating and banging at the 0.53 mile concrete oval that is sure to have some drivers hot under the collar during and after the race.
“It usually ends up that you have guys who run into each other and then we all get mad,” said Brad Keselowski. “It can definitely be a place where the tempers flare.”

Joey Logano is the defending Bristol night race champion, besting Kevin Harvick and pole sitter Denny Hamlin, who set the qualifying record at 131.407 mph, last August. Of all active drivers, Carl Edwards, Ryan Newman, Hamlin have the most poles with three each.
