The Boston College Eagles will welcome the Wagner College Seahawks to Alumni Stadium on Saturday, and are expected to roll. Here is how to watch online.
The Boston College Eagles come into Saturday’s matchup against Wagner College with a lot to prove. The Eagles were manhandled by Virginia Tech last week, but will definitely get healthy against their FCS opponent this week. Wagner does not have much of a chance in this one, and it could get ugly early.
Eagles quarterback Patrick Towles should find easy sledding against the Wagner secondary. Towles was horrible against Virginia Tech last week, throwing for only 80 yards on 9 of 28 passing. As a whole the offense barley managed 100 yards of total offense, as they fell to 0-2 in their conference.
Boston College’s secondary will be looking to improve in week 4, as they try to forget last week’s effort in Blacksburg. Virginia Tech quarterback Jerod Evans threw for five touchdowns against the Eagles, as the team was shutout 49-0. The Hokies nearly racked up 500 yards of total offense in the dominating effort.

Wagner is led by head coach Jason Houghtaling, who is in his second season with the Seahawks. The FCS school has a nice tandem at running back, as Denzel Knight and Matthias McKinnon carry most of the load for Wagner. If Boston College can keep them in check, it will be a long day for the Seahawks.

This one is going to get out of hand early, as the Eagles try to erase their horrific effort last week. Patrick Towles is a much better quarterback than he showed last week, and will definitely have the offense moving up and down the field against Wagner. Look for the Eagles to score nearly 40 points in this one, while holding the Seahawks to single digits.
