The Minnesota Vikings are not letting the Green Bay Packers win easily, as Adam Thielen gave the offense a jolt with a thrilling touchdown.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen will easily make the NFL Week 16 highlight reel with his latest play. The Vikings jumped back into the game against the Green Bay Packers with a much-needed touchdown.

After facing a 21-6 deficit, the Vikings trimmed the Packers’ lead to eight points. Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford found Thielen after he became wide open. Thielen easily cruised to the end zone after two Packers defenders collided. His touchdown catch went for a total of 71 yards.

Thielen took part in a longtime Packers tradition by performing the Lambeau Leap.

Thielen has emerged as a key weapon for Bradford. As of his touchdown catch, Thielen now leads the team in receiving yards with 900. Although Stefon Diggs has caught the majority of Bradford’s passes, Thielen has progressively worked himself into the Vikings offense.

The Vikings have extremely slim playoff hopes, and they are as good as gone if they do not beat the Packers. After an incredible 5-0 start, injuries caught up to the Vikings as they skidded to a 7-7 record. Their defense has looked a shell of its former self after dominating in its 5-0 start. They have allowed three touchdown passes to Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Meanwhile, the Packers are looking to hold off the Vikings and extend their winning streak to five. After falling to 4-6, the Packers find themselves back in NFC North title contention. If the Packers hold on for a win, they will improve their record to 9-6 and play for all the marbles against the Detroit Lions.
