Following the loss to Clemson in the National Championship, sad Alabama fans felt compelled to express their feelings on Twitter.

There are few certainties in college football. It’s a sport where any team can catch a loss on any given day. Moreover, it’s a sport where any player can come up and make a big play and a name for themselves. However, one of the few things you can always count on is the Alabama Crimson Tide, in more than one way. For one, they’re always going to be in the title picture. More importantly, though, fans are always going to be vocal and proud to scream “Roll Tide!”

However, after the Alabama loss to Clemson on Monday night in the College Football Playoff National Championship, there was no reason to celebrate. While they came one second away from back-to-back titles, they couldn’t close the deal. Subsequently, there was a different reaction than normal from Alabama fans.

Namely, it was a flock of sad Alabama fans hitting Twitter. The phrase “Still Roll Tide” was commonand the hefty amount of sodium being introduced into their diets. But all in all, it formed a conglomerate of sadness from the Crimson Tide fans.

Here’s how sad Alabama fans were dealing with their emotions on Twitter:

That last tweet just about says it all. Between the salt, the sadness, and the defiance, you can tell this one (Jalen) hurts for Alabama fans.

However, we all know that the Tide will be back here in this game sooner than later. If not next year, it’ll be the year after. That’s just what Nick Saban and this program do. Even after a tough loss or “down” year, they’re never in that vulnerable position for long at all. Subsequently, sad Alabama fans won’t be sad for very long.
