High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (12,200): Harden had an impressive back-to-back earlier this week against Miami and Milwaukee posting 40-12-10 for 67.4 fantasy points in a road loss to the Heat and 38-6-8 for 59.2 fantasy points in his home win over the Bucks. Tonight, he’ll have to carry the Rockets offense as they try to chase down the Warriors who visit Houston tonight. In their meeting earlier this season, Harden had 29-15-13, and if you have the money to spend tonight he’s a fantasy play that makes sense since he can go off and carry your team.∗∗∗

Giannis Antetokoumpo-Milwaukee Bucks (11,100): “The Alphabet” had a good game against Harden on Wednesday with 32-11-6, three blocks, and one steal for 58.2 fantasy points. He has at least 38 fantasy points in four straight since getting over the stomach flu with 57.6 against Atlanta being the other time he returned enough value to be worth 11K. Tonight, he faces the Magic in a matchup he should be able to attack. He averaged 19.5-9.5-7.0 in their first two meetings and is a play with lots of upside tonight with the only risk being that he is so spendy.

DeMar DeRozan-Toronto Raptors (9,300): DeRozan comes cheaper than Harden or Giannis, but he has the upside to produce 50+ fantasy points like those two superstars. DeRozan has at least 45 fantasy points in four of his last seven and at least 35 in each of his last eight. He had a monster 36-11-6 for 57.2 fantasy points while the Raptors rested his backcourt-mate Kyle Lowry on Tuesday. Tonight, he and Lowry will take on the Hornets who are allowing the seventh-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG.

Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (6,400): Thompson gets a good matchup against the Rockets who usually stick Patrick Beverley on Steph Curry to slow him down. Thompson had back-to-back games with over 20 points and 30 fantasy points before taking a slight backseat on Wednesday with 14-4-3 for 26.3 fantasy points against the Thunder. He had 15-6-3 against Houston earlier this year, but I think he’ll improve those numbers and have  solid stat line tonight.∗∗
